Sarah & Matt

Here is a quick picture of Sarah and Matt from the weekend. They wanted something different, with more edge. Erin pulled out a 5 foot-profoto umbrella and a portable light kit. We were also very fortunate to get access to a private airport in Long Beach.
We love a good challenge. I think - this is the future of wedding photography, more editorial/lifestyle/rock n' roll/individualized. We as a generation are visually more sophisticated as we are exposed to so much of it.
With that said, people will still value good traditional family portraits as its often rare for people to get together with busy lives, except on these joyous occasions. In addition to creative photographs, we also spent 3 hours taking Sarah and Matt's family portraits on two separate location. We also concluded with one picture at the church with approx. 100 members of their extended families.

Carolyn & Josh - June 16

I like Carolyn the moment I met her. She is easy going and fun loving. Her smile is infectious. Josh is a very lucky fellow. Here are a few of my images ...

Carolyn's mom looks on.

A confident pose for the camera.

An overjoyed bridegroom with proud parents!

While some guests chilled by the fire pit...
others were at the dance floor.

Princess Courtney

Courtney and Erin got married at the Huron Sub Station in Highland Park, CA. http://www.huronsubstation.com/ The location was gorgeous, full of natural light during the day. In the evening, a perfectly placed street light lends itself to this film noir inspired image.

Courtney's sister and nieces examining the wedding dress.

Father & Daughter Dance.

A perfect summer night wedding. The gelato cart was very popular.

Congratulations!!

Courtney & Erin

Erin and his lovely Bride finally got hitched. It was a very lovely and chic location in Highland Park, CA. There was a film crew following the coordinator as she worked the event. We may see C&E in an upcoming episode on the WE channel.
