Honor

I'm absolutely honored every time we are chosen as the photographers. The honor comes from people's trust in us to document and witness their entire spectrum of emotions. They trust that we will capture their memory of the day.

I still look back at some of the weddings that I'm fond of. They usually are not the most lavish or ostentatious events. But rather, I mostly remember weddings layered with meanings and traditions. Or someone whom I connect with.

I randomly came across Carolyn today. Check out her slideshow.

LA Times Garden Story

Last Sunday, there was a story in the LA Times Sunday Magazine featuring my photography. It was a story featuring a personal garden in the Hollywood Hills. You can check out the story here.

I had made a webpromo with the images:

Hope you enjoy,

After note - this is something I received from Casey's friends @ Sky Wedding who gifted her this sweet piece of video.  You'll catch a glimpse me in the background  ; )

Heather and Ciaran Engagement

I'm a bit late on this one. I shot an Engagement Session for Heather and Ciaran a few week ago at UCLA. They met when Ciaran was studying at UCLA as an exchange student from England. They are now both living here in Los Angeles and will be getting married this summer.

Some of my favorites from the shoot:

Santa Barbara - April 26th, 2008

I love Santa Barbara with its beautiful weather and charming architecture. It's the perfect location for Casey and Randy. They are a fun-loving, metropolitan couple. I was so honored to have the opportunity photographing their wedding @ the Presidio in Down Town Santa Barbara. Casey is a fellow Bruin. Go Bruins!! Randy is a CAL/Art Center Alum.

El Presidio de Santa Barbara is a California stat historic park built in 1782. It was the last last fortress built by the Spanish along the coast of California.

Thanks Eric, for being an awesome second shooter and assistant. Would you like to shoot more weddings?

One more classic black and white image of Casey & Randy...
