Santa Barbara - April 26th, 2008

I love Santa Barbara with its beautiful weather and charming architecture. It's the perfect location for Casey and Randy. They are a fun-loving, metropolitan couple. I was so honored to have the opportunity photographing their wedding @ the Presidio in Down Town Santa Barbara. Casey is a fellow Bruin. Go Bruins!! Randy is a CAL/Art Center Alum.

El Presidio de Santa Barbara is a California stat historic park built in 1782. It was the last last fortress built by the Spanish along the coast of California.

Not a wedding

While this blog is for Fontaine and my wedding photography, I thought that I would share some of my other work too. At the end of February, I photographed a Dr. Gillis in Los Anegles for a magazine called ABA Journal (March Issue). It is the American Bar Association's own magazine. Despite the tight deadline and Dr. Gillis' limited availability, I think I got a good shot.

Joyce & Ken

Hi Everyone,

We are back after a winter break. We are proud to have Joyce Tse and Ken Shibata as our first wedding of the season. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. It is an interesting space with a glass roof, tucked away in trees, and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The space was designed Frank Lloyd Wright's son: Lloyd Wright. After the ceremony the evening continued with fun and cheers. We wish Joyce and Ken all the best!

New Calendar Feature!

After checking out the various options to our blog, we discovered that we can add a calendar feature. So on the right hand side, you will see a link to our new google calendar. This will allow people to see our booked dates and if it is a one or two person package on that date. Don't forget, just because we may have booked a single photographer package some days, we may be available to book another!

The long awaited site update!

Hi everyone,

We are finally getting our website updated! It has served us well, but was over due for a facelift. We changed up some of the color schemes and added new and more images. Thanks to all of our clients who have made this possible, and for inviting us to celebrate with you on your wedding days. Also, thanks to the planners, locations, and our assistants who contribute to our picture taking.
